How long will it take to receive my jewellery?

 

 

We aim to despatch your jewellery as soon as possible, usually within 2-3 working days. You will be informed of the estimated delivery of your jewellery within 24 hours*. We will always do our best to work around you and to deliver before any deadlines you may have.

 

If your chosen item is out of stock you will be informed within 24 hours* and given the approximate lead time for your order.

 

We offer most ring sizes, although due to the high number of rings available and the number of optional ring sizes on offer it is not possible for us to stock all sizes. If we do not stock your ring in your required size we can usually make it to order within 7-10 working days. Out of stock items, custom jewellery and eternity rings may take 4-6 weeks. Please feel free to contact us to check delivery of your chosen items before placing your order.

Can I return the jewellery if I don't like it?

 

Yes we offer a 30 day money back guarantee for jewellery and 10 day returns on watches, for full details please view our returns policy.

 


 

Do you have a store I can visit?

 

Lloyd's Family Jewellery is internet based and does not have facilities to receive the public.

 


 

How can you offer such low prices?

 

As we are based on the web we do not have the lofty overheads of an expensive high street store. We also buy our jewellery direct from our manufacturers as we supply it to you, this means we don't need to keep expensive stock which is not only safe for us but also cheaper. We pass all these savings direct to our customers making our jewellery much cheaper than your average high street store. High street stores can get frustrated with this, we know as we previously ran a store for over 40 years.

 


 

I've ordered the wrong size ring what can I do?

 

Simply tell us your problem, return the ring and we will have it re-sized (*if possible) and sent back to you for £25. We should be able to return the ring to you within 7 working days.

*Certain rings cannot be sized including full eternity rings and certain settings. Rings can only be sized within reasonable parameters i.e. we may not be able to size a ring 5 or more sizes for example as this may loosen stones or affect the shape of the ring.

What delivery service do you use?

 

Once your order is ready for despatch we use Royal Mail Special next day delivery by 1:00pm, covering 99% of UK. Online tracking is available.

Please note- someone must be present at the delivery address to sign for the package. Failing this your package can be collected from the Royal Mail post/sorting office or arranged for re-delivery.

In the event of a postal strike all packages are delivered by next day insured courier.

 


 

Are the order packages sent in plain envelopes?

 

Yes our packaging gives no indication as to what is inside and our company logo is not displayed on the package. This is mainly for security reasons but also lets you keep any surprises. Our sender address has to be labeled on the package but our company name is not mentioned. Jewellery and packaging arrives boxed in a silver special delivery sleeve.

 

 

 

What are your opening times?

 

You can call us Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 6:00pm excluding bank holidays, however feel free to try us outside these times.

 

 

 

Is it safe to buy jewellery on your website?

  • We do not store credit card information after an order has been placed.

What if my jewellery develops a problem or is damaged after your 12 month guarantee has finished?

 

If you encounter any problems or damage with your jewellery (such as those listed below) after your 12 month guarantee, we can offer to inspect your jewellery and advise on what work is necessary to repair your item.

 

Work may include:

 

  • Missing stones
  • Broken claws
  • Worn down plating
  • Scratches
  • Ring re-sizing
  • Chain or Clasp repairs
  • Cracks or dents in precious metal

 

We can take your jewellery to our local specialized repair centre for an evaluation of your jewellery, if the work requested is possible we can receive a quote and ask if you would like to proceed. What is an Authenticity Certificate? 

 

If a watch is for sale and it states it has an Authenticity Certificate then it means that we provide a guarantee that the watch has been checked for authenticity and is a genuine timepiece in its movement, case and bracelet. This is also provided when the watch has no original papers. 

 

 

What does Unworn Mean? 


If a watch states that it is unworn it means that the watch has been recently purchased new, then sold without being worn but is still classed as pre-owned. The watch will have all the protective stickers and seals still on the watch. The watch will also have the manufacturers guarantee. 

 

 


I live overseas. Can I purchase from you? 


We are unable to sell watches outside of the UK.

At present we do not have facilities to receive the public however if you are not fully satisfied with your jewellery purchase you may cancel your order within 10 days, this cooling off period starts the day after you receive your order.

Some watches are stocked, models which are labeled as sold are kept online for customers to see which watches can potentially be supplied and gives an idea on prices for that model.
