Diamond Jewellery: Frequently Asked Questions
How long till I receive my jewellery?
We aim to deliver most orders within 2 - 3 working days. In the event of your item being out of stock or not available in your size; we will inform you within 24 hours of your order and let you know the estimated time you will receive the item before processing the order.
Eternity rings usually need to be specially made and can take around 3 - 6 weeks however certain sizes may be in stock in which case delivery is also 2 - 3 working days. Please note specially made orders are non-returnable. You will be informed if the item needs to be specially ordered before we process the order.
You can contact us before you place the order to find out the approximate delivery time of a particular item.
Can I return the jewellery if I don't like it?
Yes we offer a 30 day money back guarantee for most jewellery, for more details including exclusions please view our returns policy>
Do you have a store I can visit?
Lloyd's Family Jewellery is solely based on the internet and does not have facilities to receive the public.
How can you offer such low prices?
As we are based on the web we do not have the lofty overheads of an expensive high street store. We also buy our jewellery direct from our manufacturers as we supply it to you, this means we don't need to keep expensive stock which is not only safe for us but also cheaper. We pass all these savings direct to our customers making our jewellery much cheaper than your average high street store.
I've ordered the wrong size ring what can I do?
Simply tell us your problem, return the ring and we will have it re-sized (*if possible) and sent back to you for £20 (this includes postage). We should be able to return the ring to you within 7 working days.
*Certain rings cannot be sized including full eternity rings and special settings. Rings can only be sized within reasonable parameters i.e. we may not be able to size a ring 5 or more sizes as this may loosen stones or affect the shape of the shank.
How can I find the ring size I need?

Is it safe to buy jewellery on the internet?
When you buy on-line from a European retailer, you have even more consumer rights than when you buy from a shop, internet shopping is safe if you follow these steps.
Ensure the web site provides a street address, e-mail contact details and a non-mobile telephone number. If in doubt, e-mail or phone the merchant before giving them your payment card details to reassure yourself that it is legitimate.
All credit cards will protect you in terms of the payment itself and also offer you additional protection in the case of a disputed transaction. Make sure that you are fully aware of any payment commitments you are entering into, including whether you are instructing a single payment or a series of payments.
During checkout, look for a closed padlock symbol at the bottom of the screen and / or the site address changing from http:// to https:// which indicate that the communication between you and the retailer is encrypted and therefore confidential. While you are on a 'secure' page (i.e. when the padlock is visible), you can right-click to view security information about the page.
Never disclose your credit card’s PIN number (this is not the card number) to anyone, including people claiming to be from your bank or the police, and NEVER send it over the internet.
Always keep a record of every on-line transaction as proof of order.
If you have a problem, contact the company you ordered from. If they do not give you satisfaction, contact your local Trading Standards Office.
Always check your credit card statement carefully. Raise any discrepancies with the retailer.
Lloyds Family Jewellery are accredited with the ISIS Safe Shopping Scheme and must honour a strict code of practice when trading online.
