Where it all began….
The Lloyd family have been selling jewellery since 1971. The business actually started off selling antique and reproduction furniture in a small store at Oxford Road, Middlesbrough, we then gradually started to integrate fine diamond jewellery into the store as jewellery has always been a passion within the Lloyd family. After 25 years we made the move to a large store in Stockton-on-Tees offering 15000 square feet of show room space for furniture with jewellery counters in the centre. We still sell furniture today which you can see on our site newbyhouseinteriors.co.uk. We have been retailing jewellery at the best possible prices and the very best in customer service for over 40 years.
Seeing an opportunity to offer even greater prices and be more competitive we made the move to the web in 2005. We aim to offer the very best prices possible, in order to do this we sought to cut as many overheads as possible which is why we now sell solely over the internet. This enables us to offer prices once thought impossible due to no longer having the lofty overheads of running a large store.
